The Last Drop
In One Direction's song
"Night Changes," the line "How fast the night changes"
seems to hit differently now. It appeared as though everything had ended suddenly.
It seems like the school year just began yesterday, and here we are,
approaching the finish line. I am, nonetheless, more prepared than ever to
finally end this academic year.
Due to numerous circumstances, I
initially felt that this academic year would be a complete disaster, but it
ended up being one of the best ones I've ever had. This academic year has
taught me a lot, including the value of social interaction, perseverance, hard
work, cooperation, discipline, and trust. In addition, I've made true friends
and found solace in my classmates. I've found contentment and happiness, and I
found a family. And for that, I was grateful.
I have, however, encountered a
variety of difficulties. I struggle with poor time management, a lack of social
skills, and a lack of enthusiasm for engaging in class. Fortunately, I was able
to overcome these obstacles and even learn something from them.
Therefore, I suppose I might
conclude that this academic year didn't turn out awful as I had anticipated. I
am extremely grateful for everything I have been given this school year to
experience. However, I am aware that everything must end, and I know the real
journey is just about to begin. Nevertheless, I will always cherish the
experiences I had and be grateful for it.
