A Day to Celebrate
ISNHS celebrates their 121st High School Day Celebration on March 25, 2023. The school celebrates the day with the theme of “Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity”. The main event occurred at ISNHS Centennial Gymnasium at 8:00 am. And now, let us talk about the activities that took place along the celebration.
Before the celebration, card
invitations and permit were given to each of the students of the school. Inside
the card invitation are the activities that will be held during the celebration.
According to the card invitation, 2 main events were divided. The first one
which is interpreted in the invitation as the ‘Program’ starts at 10:00 a.m.
while the second one interpreted as the Field Demo starts at 1:00 p.m..
However, to begin the overall
event, thanksgiving mass will took place at 8:00 am. This will be followed by
the first main event, the program, which are, doxology, singing of pambansang
awit, and hymns that are to be sang by the Teacher’s Choir. Welcome Address, as
usual, are to be done by the principal, Mrs. Editha C. Bagcal then followed by
messages from Ms. Gemma Tacuycuy, CESO V Schools Division Superintendent.
Intermission Number of the selected grade 10 students will follow along with
the introduction of the Guest Speaker by Mr. Joseph Obrero, Head teacher VI ESP
Department and an Inspirational Talk which will be done by Atty. Lovely Anne
Joy LAzo, the outstanding Alumna, Class 2010. After that, awarding of Plaque of
Recognition to the Guest Speaker will took place alongside with the teacher’s
choir intermission number, awarding of outstanding teachers, employees and
retirees, word of gratitude by Mr. Rommel Rabo, the Asst. Principal III, SHS,
and lastly, the closing song which is Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat.
Afterwards, the second main
event will took place at 1:00 p.m. Primarily, a prayer will start the event and
will be led by Mr. Joseph Obrero, Head Teacher VI, ESP Department and then
followed by the welcoming adress of the Ass.t Principal II, JHS, Mr. Reynario
Viloria. Subsequently, participation of student whill be evident in the
following activities. Calisthenics, an exercises that don't rely on anything
but body weight, and festival dances will be held on the ISNHS Field. Then,
Tradition games led by the FEC Officers, and Booths hosted by the SSG will take
place. And to end the event, a word of gratitude will be done by Mrs. Judeliza
M. Refuerzo, Head Teacher VI, MAPEH Department.
Overall, high school day is
all about celebrating, participating, and inspiring. It is where the students
alongside the teachers, enjoy, have fun, and release their stress. That is why,
the occurrence and existence of the celebration is vital for the students and
teachers.
