The Glitter of Christmas

      

      To give and receive, to love and hope, to feel joy and happiness, and to remember the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Christmas is the very definition of every mentioned word. Christmas must scream nothing but positivity. Morality and goodness are the ones that shall live and thrive. Maybe that is why this is one of my favorite holidays.

     Christmas never fails to fascinate me as the excitement and joy it brings me never change and never fade. There is always that excitement that I feel every time Christmas is near. I always look forward to the joy it can bring and the smile it can plaster on my face. Christmas has been such a good holiday for me. Whether we celebrate it simply or grandly, the joy it brings is always the same. It just never disappoints. Today, December 25, 2022, my Christmas was celebrated with my loved ones. We served different and numerous dishes such as spaghetti, salad, and many more. We gave and received presents, and we converse with each other. The celebration wasn't grand, but it was enough and made me happy.

     This year's Christmas is also a very special day because, after 2 years of celebrating it in lockdown, we finally got to celebrate it like how we normally used to celebrate Christmas. It brings some kind of nostalgia as we finally got to gather again with our loved ones. Being apart for 2 years made the gathering more special and meaningful. It made us realize how being together is an event that we must never take granted for. All in all, this Christmas day gathers us all together and brings joy and all those realizations into our life.
