My Way Back Home
My Way Back Home
Gone are the days when our life was full of rainbows and butterflies. Gone are the days when we used to go out freely with our friends. Gone are the days when we truly felt safe. The word freedom, where has it gone?... Oh, it all started in March 2020.
March 2020 was the day when everything started to change. Schools shut down, people were locked down in their homes, facilities were closed, and people were unable to meet their friends and loved ones. It was a shock to me and I was confused at first, confused as to why this pandemic had to happen. I was sad and started to feel lonely, but gladly, as time passed by, I got used to this matter.
I discovered a lot of things during the pandemic. I found new hobbies of mine, new people to admire, and I found new friends online. Everything was starting to go well not until the new normal education was introduced to me. Again, the setup was unfamiliar which made me nervous and anxious. However, it wasn’t that hard to be accustomed to this matter as my family was there with me. They kept me going, they supported me, and they helped me in so many ways. They were there during my ups and downs, and I could not be more thankful.
And at last, I survived. This pandemic has been a challenge for all of
us. Many people have lost their loved ones, many people cried, and many people
continued to fight. It has been a roller coaster ride. We were lost. I was
lost. But now, I can gladly say that I have finally found my way back home.

I actually had goosebumps while reading your blog because it was so good, Arizen. Thank you for sharing that experience of yours.
